Shoulder Pre and Rehabilitation Program
During the course of season, one’s shoulder, especially a pitcher, is placed under an extreme amount of stress. Shoulder injuries are quite common and can set-back an athlete for weeks or months at a time. The Shoulder Pre and Rehabilitation Program will focus on proper strengthening and stretching of the rotator cuff muscles as well as strengthening the surrounding muscles of the shoulder joint. An added bonus of this program is the added velocity one will gain on his or her fastball.
*Rehabilitation program will also follow the advice and direction from the athlete’s physician or therapist
Baseball Specific Weight Training
These workout sessions will involve strengthening the specific muscles that are emphasized while playing the game of baseball. Rotational exercises, core strengthening, and leg workouts can help an athlete excel in every part of the game. With frequent training of various muscle groups, one will see improvement in such areas as hitting, fielding, pitching, and running. The athlete will receive personal instruction from a PTI baseball trainer or a certified PTI personal trainer.
